Sist endret 17.07.2024 11.52 When do you contact legevakten? You can contact legevakten when your general practitioner (fastlege) is not available and the help cannot wait. During the day, Monday to Friday, you must always contact your general practitioner before calling legevakten. The general practitioner has hours for immediate help every day and has substitutes during holidays. What help can you get at Legevakten? Advice and guidance over the telephone. Assessment and treatment of acute injuries and illness. Assessment and treatment in case of acute exacerbation of chronic diseases. If you are ill and do not have a general practitioner, you can call legevakten. Legevakten can also help you when you are travelling or on holiday, and therefore not close to your general practitioner (fastlege). Help you cannot get at legevakten. We cannot help you with Extension of sick leave Health certificate Prescription for addictive drugs Ordinary prescription renewals Parking There are marked parking for visitors. For free parking, you must register your plate number on the parking meter in the reception. How to visit without a car. Bus There is a 4 minutes’ walk to legevakten from the nearest bus stop. Check the timetables on www.vkt.no and use Kjellegveien 2 as your destination. Taxi Taxi to or from legevakten is only covered if the doctor believes that you need this for medical reasons. Call legevakten to see if you can get a requisition. You have to pay for the taxi to legevakten. Payment You can pay with card before you leave legevakten. If you do not pay, you will receive a sms from Melinpay where you will have the opportunity to pay with card or Vipps within 24 hours. If you do not pay, you will receive an invoice in the mail from Melin Collector. Exemption card for health services Bring your card. Legevakten has to register it.
